Q2 2024 Ultracasual Games Surge on Android in the US

Ultracasual games have seen varied performance on the Android platform in the US during the second quarter of 2024. Data from Sensor Tower provides us with an overview of the top five games in this genre.

Relax Mini Games maintained a steady influx of downloads, peaking at around 18K in the week of May 13th and then gradually declining to just over 10K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, reaching a high of nearly 15K before settling down to approximately 14K.

Super Toy 3D saw a modest start in April with over 5K downloads, which slightly increased to nearly 6K in the second week but later experienced a downward trend, dipping to around 3K towards the end of May. However, weekly active users remained robust, starting at over 31K and experiencing a rise towards the end of June, indicating sustained engagement despite fewer new downloads.

Antistress - relaxation toys witnessed an initial increase in downloads from 2.8K to nearly 4.4K, followed by a decrease to just under 2.7K. Active users showcased a more stable trend, starting at around 62K, dipping in May, and then recovering to over 62K by the end of the quarter.

Acrylic Nails! experienced a fluctuating download count, with an initial 4.2K downloads at the beginning of April, a dip to 1.7K in early May, and a slight recovery to approximately 2.4K by the end of June. Weekly active users mirrored this volatility but ended the quarter on a slightly positive note with over 7.4K users.

Lastly, Fidget Toys 3D - Antistress had a gradual increase in downloads from the start of April, peaking at 3.1K, but then saw a decline to just over 1.2K by the end of June. Active users started strong at nearly 15K, reached a peak of over 16K, and concluded the quarter with a dip to around 11.6K.
